It gets its name from the tone of the sand on its approximately 300 meter shoreline. You can get there by boat or by the same trail that leaves Castelhanos and passes through Praia Mansa, totaling a 50 minutes walk. In the right corner a river flows, forming a natural pool. A fishing community lives there and their houses, canoe ranch, boats, fishing nets and coconut trees give charming of the place. The sea is good for diving and fishing. There is a trail to neighbhood Praia da Figueira and it is also part of the section of the trail that goes from Castelhanos to Bonete.
