Praia Grande Beach

One of the largest on the island, its 600 meters are framed by coconut trees and thick, yellow sand. With excellent infrastructure, it offers public parking, a promenade with bench, garden, restaurant, kiosk, shower, sports court, playground and the Capela São Benedito, which attracts many residents. In the left corner of the beach, there is a pier and several rocks that provide an environment conducive to snorkeling.

It is also popular for stand up paddle and kayaking. Every August, the place hosts the Festival da Tainha. It's worth it watching the sunset from there.
