Gato Beach

One of Ilhabela's little jewlerys, little known to the general public. Access is from the Cachoeira do Gato trail, which starts in the left corner of Praia de Castelhanos. This small and beautiful stretch of sand is home to large stones of different shapes and is bathed by an almost always rough sea. Walking along the coast, from the direct corner of the beach, you reach the mouth of Cachoeira do Gato, which before reaching the sea forms a small water well, ideal for a refreshing swim.
